Children's privacy

MathPop is designed for children, but family accounts are intended to be created and controlled by a parent or guardian.

We limit the information collected about children to what is reasonably necessary to provide the app's educational features. We do not knowingly ask children to provide sensitive personal information or their own contact details.

Advertising shown to children or users of unknown age is handled in accordance with applicable children's privacy requirements. Where required, advertising is contextual or non-personalized.

If you believe that personal information relating to a child has been collected incorrectly, contact support@mathpop.app so that we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Advertising

MathPop may use Google AdMob to display advertisements, including rewarded advertisements.

AdMob may process device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to display ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.

Advertising may not appear for premium subscribers. Where required for children, MathPop requests non-personalized or otherwise age-appropriate advertising.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are processed through Google Play. MathPop does not receive or store full payment-card details.

Google may process payment information, transaction details, and account information according to its own privacy policy. MathPop receives limited purchase information needed to verify and manage premium access.

Service providers

We do not sell or rent personal data.

We share limited data with trusted service providers only when necessary to operate, secure, and improve MathPop. These providers may include:

  • Google Firebase for authentication, databases, cloud functions, notifications, diagnostics, and related infrastructure
  • Google Play for app distribution, subscriptions, payments, and purchase verification

These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

  • Important service or security communications
  • Optional learning reminders and engagement notifications

Device notification tokens may be stored to deliver push notifications. Users can disable notifications through their device settings.

  • Performance of a contract, such as providing the MathPop service and premium subscription
  • Consent, where consent is required
  • Legitimate interests, such as maintaining security, preventing fraud, and improving app reliability
  • Compliance with legal obligations

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide MathPop, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Account and child-profile data may be deleted when the family account is deleted, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or financial-record purposes.

Account and data deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data through the account-deletion option provided by MathPop or by contacting: support@mathpop.app

Please send the request from the email address associated with the family account. We may need to verify the requester's identity before completing the deletion.

Some limited records may be retained where required by law or necessary for fraud prevention, security, subscription records, or resolving disputes.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we regularly work to protect MathPop and its users.
